DK Carriage Horses Review

We were put in contact with DK Carriage horses through the local horsing community, being advised we'd receive the best experienced and friendly advice; little did we expect the smooth flow from introductions, to working with reschooling our pony and the deliverance back of an excellent amatuer carriage driving pony.

We sought help as our pony had had a few spooks, combined with our being novices ourselves this knocked everyone's confidence.  Danny and Sarah did nothing more than take control and immediately feedback to us positive vibes, both in expectations and their experience, all the time without overstating their position, a gentle and thorough re-training program was undertaken.

Danny re-schooled her from the ground up, working on her manners, lunging, fitness and especially her confidence.  All the time his assessment of her was understated, but we can not express how happy and fulfilled we feel at the end of our training journey, as Dannys cool hand has led both ourselves and the pony back onto the right track.

Both Danny & Sarah involved us at each step of their assessment, keeping our Pony with them for one-to-one tutelage over four weeks, and then a lesson for both myself and my father was introduced to get us used to the whole driving experience from the right point of view.

Equipped with a modicum of self-confidence, and a confident out look; all based on Danny's leadership; we we have been able to enjoy driving out once again and despite any of the run-of-the-mill hiccups, we feel we have been well prepared by this whole training experience to keep trying.
